Seen a good few Irish heads there at the weekend. What did you think? I thought it was great. Berlin is a class city. The German's dont do much wrong, football, beer drinking, techno, porn.
on a different note
Earlier this year (april 15th) Soma records and Nice & Nasty got together for the 1st time and rocked da house. This friday (21st July) the Belfast-GLasgow-Dublin connection get set to do it again.
Produse (aka Jamie Clarke & Gavzilla from Hospital etc) do their thing live alongside DJs Desy Balmer and Jim Hutchison; however, the big event of the night is that Marco Bernardi aka Octogen wil be playing live for the first time in Ireland. The maestro of Soma, Clone, Frustrated Funk, Emoticon and Iridite will be rippin up the dance floor with his unique brand of techno and electro. This guy is the boffin behind Funk D'VOid and PErcy X and is fast becoming Europe's hottest producer and it isnt a surprise to find him at home with Slam, Hystereo, Vector Lovers and so on on Soma.
Nice & Nasty versu Soma takes place at Crawdaddy (part of Pod) on Friday from 11-30pm and you pay at the door a mere tenner. for more info go to: www.electronicireland.com and www.niceandnasty.net |
