i use 1210's and i have a DJM 300 and an EFX 500. is there any way i can asign the effects to just one channel. I'd like to be able to use effects on just one track in the middle of a mix but i don't know if it's possible.
thx in advance for any help |

| heya. as far as i know the efx unit has to have the mixer connected in a way that its basically going through the whole system, so what ever you have hooked up its the master sound that is effected. from my knowledge i dont think it can be assigned to just one channel. |

| You can run it through one deck by running whatever deck you want the effects to be on into the input of the efx and the output goes to your mixer to whatever channel you usually have your deck on. You have to be careful to calibrate the gain etc on the efx so that when you bring in a track on the deck that's connected to the efx its balanced with the other... You can also use the Send and Return options but your mixer needs to be compatible. That's just the tip of the iceberg with this machine, its really fantastic once you figure all the bits and bobs, check out James Zabiela on You Tube for a little demo  |
