"PEOPLE SAY WE'RE BEING PERVERSE ON PURPOSE"

Guten tag,

Thanks to everyone who made our night a fortnight ago one of the wildest yet at the Vic. Possibly the loudest night ever at the club, bar when Justice wreaked havoc last November. Someone caught it on tape:

This weekend sees the long-awaited arrival of the legendary Andrew Weatherll to his club. Weatherall has carved out a highly respected career in British techno. From producing Primal Scream's 'Loaded' to experimenting with downtempo under his Sabres Of Paradise moniker onto dabbling with experimental electronica with Keith Tenniswood as Two Lone Swordsmen, Mr Weatherall has applied his expertise to many styles and mastered them all. Through the 90's, he could've easily ridden the big beat (Chemical Brothers) or high-profile-DJ (Oakenfold) waves, choosing instead to pursue -- and in many ways define -- a more cutting-edge, IDM approach. His set at '091' in Galway two years ago was one of the best we've ever heard and we are ecstatic to be hosting one of the world's most dedicated and talented DJs at '110th Street' on Saturday 24th June.

Doors are 10pm, we urge early arrival as tickets (15E) will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Please note - normal guestlist suspended.

Next week - SiSi hold fort at '110th Street'. Then on Sat July 8th, one of the tallest (& nicest) DJ's in the bizniz, EROL ALKAN, will be attempting to break the record for organising the longest conga line in history @ The Vic. Please bring comfortable footwear.

Finally - don't forget 'An Taobh Tuathail' broadcasts live from Roisin Dubh, Galway with four of Ireland's finest young bands this Friday night. More info below.

See you in the toilet cubicle,
An Stiurth
