This coming 12th August sees the Temple Bar Music Centre play host to HOUSE VS TECHNO - a dance event alike to little that has gone before. Featuring the cream of homegrown talent, this classic Friday night fight night will see the two giants of the dance music genre pitted against each other in all-out battle for sonic supremacy. Brought to you by Bigger Picture, all proceeds are to benefit pioneering Irish development agency SELF HELP who have been promoting and implementing integrated sustainable rural development programmes in Africa for over 20 years. And the winner is? Everybody.

Going by the weight in the buckets by the end of the night, techno i think just nipped in there, and the genral response down in pogo last night, that it was techno that did it for the masses. Thats not to say all the dj's where brilliant and all on top form, i'd personally like to thank them all for lending us there services for such a good cause, especially Steve Manning for comming down at such short notice, spot on.
Also a big thanks to everybody who came down and made it such a special night, you helped raise over 1500euro, for Self Help, i should be able to give you more a definat figure during the week.
Thanks again everybody it was a great night, hopefully we will be back with a few more different gigs over the next few months, you never no we might do that one again, sometime down the road if you would like to see it again, i no i would.
Keep an eye out for Bigger Picture anyway, and hopefully we will see you in a sweaty club somewhere soon.
