I've never been to any events in Millstreet, but have just heard that the train station is a good hike from the arena where the global gathering is. Can anyone shed any light as to whether there are busses booked to take us from train station to venue?

Hi, yeah i was there a few years ago to see carl cox, richie hawtin, etc. Its a good venue but the atmosphere was crap. Its a bit of a walk from the train station to the town/venue but its not a taxi ride. You could easily walk it. Now it was a few years so i cant remember how long of a walk but i dont think it was bad. I'm heading down myself so i'l ask my mates just in case im wrong

Yeah..... I've heard from Siobhan in the Pod with some info.

There are loadsa food stands apart from hotdogs - there are noodles, crepes, bbq etc. Beer of the event if BUD, but there will be WINE also. Train ppl have to trek their own way to the venue from the station, but there will be BUSES laid on to bring you back to the station after the event. The TIMETABLE will be printed in THE STAR this Friday.

Cant wait.
