Electric City Residents Launch Night:

This Thursday sees the next phase of Electric City take off in our new weekly home Wax. Already established as one of Dublin's best small clubs, Wax have installed a new Turbo sound system, CDJ 1000's and the latest Technics turntables to make it even better than before. We kick off with a night featuring our new crew of Residents. First up will old timers DJ Simon Conway and Giles Armstrong who will be easing you in with some italo and uber grooves. Following on from them we have the oldest member of our squad Dan Power. Dan will be jetting up in his Polo from his current base beside the river Lee in Cork to supply the deepest sound of the night as only he can.
Coming on like a seventh sense at the end of the night will be bight young things Barry Donovan & Eddie Brennan. Barry is part of the Lunar Disko crew who have been putting on some great artists like Bangkok Impact, Legowelt & intergalactic Gary. Finishing things up is Eddie Brennan - one of the freshest faced DJs around and someone who has played at just about every night across the city.
Unfortunately the final resident on our team Rian 'The Miller' Ryan can't make it this week as he is running in the 2.30 at the Amsterdam Dog Arena but he will be making his debut appearance at Wax on August 24th.
Not only that but we've gone all out and printed up some limited edition Electric City stickers, stick them on the window of your car, on your couch, wherever - they're right sticky so they are. Everyone on the night will get a free sticker to treasure and stick.
