OPTIMO (ESPACIO) - Saturday 6th May
JD Twitch & JG Wilkes are resident DJs at Glasgow's infamous Optimo (Espacio) club night, which has been on the go since 1997. They are reknowned for approaching their sets with an open mind: sleazy funk, post-punk, electro-house, 50's swing, torch songs, disco classics, percussion workouts, sublime house, raging techno, 'Zorba The Greek', 80's pop, rave anthems etc. Wilkes played solo last year, wowing all with a fantastic set that left the floors feeling stickier than usual at the Vic. With Twitch joining him this time around (more than likely on Abelton Live), this one's gonna be roadblocked, so don't be late. Check out their two most recent compilations for a taste of 'Optimo'.
