Was just thinking this morning that theres a huge void where Nova used to be. Is there any interest in getting it off the ground again? Heard that all equipment was seized the last time it was shut down which explains why it hasnt been back on in nearly a year. I feel its hurt Dublin clubbing quite a bit, not just from the lack of advertising of clubnights etc, but it just created a bit of a community vibe which seems to be missing now. Also the fact that there is no decent party gaff at the moment (that I know of) is a balls - the closest thing is glenart castle! So maybe town would be a much better place if everyone threw in a fiver and we bought a warehouse somewhere and installed Nova version 2

I don't think it is likely to be resurrected from the ashes to be honest.
I noticed there are a few new pirates cropping up here and there but the broadcasting signals are very weak.
The music is mostly shite on them too.
I don't think there is any interest from the previous Nova management to get things going again.
However I have heard there is something in the pipe lines from a different quarter.
There is a definite void in the clubbing scene now that we don't have a central location to find out what is on when and where.
Nova wasn't to everybody's liking though because it was deemed to be a little top heavy on the "Funky House".
But even still it really did have some of Dublin's best DJ's on it.
The one thing I have noticed is that people do not have same outlet for new music they once had and now don't recognise new music out as much as they used to.
A shame really.
