The first single under a new guise for producer Vandal, who this time decides to opt for a change from his breaks and ventures into the four to the floor sound aided by the vocals of an electro-punk band singer Jessica Grande. Notably (as Vandal), he's already graced the Spin Out label with heavy re-workings of 'Spilt Milk' by Metric and Bob Standard and 'Come As One' by Swain & Paris.

So getting down on his new electro-house alias 'Simpleton' we see a tough production designed for a pure floor moment. Quirky sounding synth driven bass and cool drums that all work well together and can easily fit and fall into many genres with a building edge. Bit crushed sounds and added effects here and there with the vocal spoken all meet for a melting point that rises up and unleashes for an energetic heavy house workout. Using varied influences throughout from minimal, electro and techno and of course not forgetting Vandal's breaks influences and productions you have a quality piece of heavy tough house meets electro house.

The remix comes from duo Baobinga & ID who have been making a name for themselves on top breaks labels such as Fat! and Mantra. I dj'd on the same line up as them recently at Plymouth's underground night Magik Bullet and they played a blinder. They provide a heavy energetic jam-packed re work. Heavy, tribal, percussive breaks is the order of the day from start to finish. A big dance floor mix with its huge building bass line and relentless beats, the track continues and builds all the way and uses the cool synth to bring out a floor busting mix.
