Undeniably house music's men of the moment, the ever so desperate dance media have latched onto this German duo and their newish tune Rej proclaiming it to be the tune of the summer (already) and who are we to argue. This will be his (kristian beyer's) second time playing for us and we have been digging his brooding Germanic Detroit heavy sounds since we were introduced to him and the new wave of Sonar Kollektiv stock by DJ Dixon (one of our favourites) a while ago.

It started with 'Nia' - a house tune of epic proportions, quite dark yet utterly uplifting at the same time, which was what really caught our attention. Then there was 'Mifune', another tune of similar qualities that sounds like it belongs at the very beginning of the night but as a peak time tune does some serious damage. A slew of other releases that were being picked up from Giles Peterson tro Laurent Garnier and then along came 'Rej'. 8 months of bubbling under until the trendy minimalist movement claimed it as aan anthem.

To us its just great house music and Kristian its a great house DJ.

There is some serious hype surrounding this gig and with the Daft Punk concert on aswell, we expect a crazy one.
