It's been a long summer's wait, but in just over ten days time Northern Ireland's dance music scene will celebrate the party of the year! Planet Love WKD - the Festival O6 on Saturday 9th September will see some of the world's most famous DJs travel from all over the world to Shane's Castle, Antrim, for this legendary clubbing extravaganza which was named as one of the Top 50 festivals in the world by Muzik magazine!

And for the first time - BBC Radio 1 will be present and broadcasting live from Planet Love, across the UK and the globe!

World Number 1 DJ Paul Van Dyk is the headliner, and he's supported by a first ever fully live performance from Chicane while two members of The Happy Monday's will be performing a DJ set. Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, DJ Fergie, Lisa Lashes, Christopher Lawrence and Jupiter Ace make up only a small selection of an impressive and eclectic line up which is host over eight different stages.

This year will also see a psy trance stage with artists travelling from Taiwan and Spain to play with Northern and Southern Irish DJs, while Northern Irish hip hop and breaks outfit Urban Couture will again host a breaks arena. Local DJ charity Keymix - set up and run by DJ Fergie's mother Alice Ferguson - will once again host a stage offering eight of the north's most promising DJs the chance of a lifetime - to DJ at the biggest event in the Ireland's dance music calendar.

The fully licensed festival which will also host a funfair, stalls and food outlets, runs from 2pm until 2am and for the first time this year, Planet Love organisers PLM Promotions have laid on an official bus service from 17 towns across Northern Ireland, as well as a regular shuttle bus from Belfast and Lisburn City Centres to Shane's Castle. All are return services.
