In 1996 they released their first album entitled The Fifth Mission-Return To The Flightpath Estate on Weatherall's own Emissions imprint. They have since recorded for Warp Records, for whom their most recent release was 2004's From the Double Gone Chapel, which saw them veer towards more conventional instrumentation in order to create a overtly post-punk sound.
Outside of Two Lone Swordsmen, Tenniswood took up the moniker of Radioactive Man under which to unleash his own works, his debut album also titled Radioactive Man was released on Weatherall's label, Rotters Golf Club, in September 2001. The album received many plaudits (amongst them, "One of the UK's most underrated DJ / producers") and established him as a producer in his own right. His eagerly anticipated follow up album Booby Trap was released to critical acclaim in May 2003.
Taking electro as a blueprint, Radioactive Man makes it all his own, his sound is as definable by it's inclusion of other genres and influences as by the straight-up dancefloor dynamics he employs to great effect.
"I'm still going down the electro path with Radioactive Man, but there's also other stuff involved in that project. There's breakbeat and drum and bass in there for certain, plus a little bit of dub in places. I don't know how to explain Radioactive Man sometimes but I'm definitely happy with the way it's all going."
In additition to his output with Weatherall and as Radioactive Man, Tenniswood has leant his considerable production and engineering talents to David Holmes, Beth Orton, Red Snapper, Primal Scream and Jon Carter and can be found DJing in the UK and overseas most weekends
