Well what I can say other than what a thoroughly nice young gentleman Mike Monday was. One of the friendliest DJ's I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
As for his music…well the guy was certainly on form, despite the fact he felt being off the booze might affect his performance. No worries there. From the get go he rocked the joint with the best of what is out there at the moment along with some truly underground numbers. Tune of the night would have to be the Carl Craig's mix of Xpress2's Kill 100. What a way to end a set.
I'm not too sure how well up the crowd were on Mike Monday's own productions but what he played they lapped up.
The crowd were behind him from the get go and gave it a 100% despite the fact that numbers were a little thin on the floor.
Great support too from Arveene, Calvin James and Conor Feeney.
It is easy to see what all the fuss is about him at the moment and we wish him every success in the future and look forward to having him back soon.
